Poverty By Mahalet Gebreyesus
In Africa and other country people who doesn't have anything like food, clothe, clean water and house. Why doesn't it ever go away? Poverty is extremely complex, and what you believe about it will determine how you react to it and what action you take. Below we have taken a brief excerpt from Hope Lives, also featured on the Resources page, that provides a basic understanding of the causes of poverty - a good place to start learning about poverty, and how you can make a difference to transform a life, a family, or a community.
I wish I could point a finger at one single thing and say, “That’s it; that’s to blame. Fix that and you’ve solved the problem.” But the causes of poverty are many and interrelated, and not everyone agrees on what they are.
So if the causes of poverty are so many, and if, as Jesus said, there will always be poor among us, I want to despair. Can anything ever change? I know I need a big-picture understanding of poverty.
So what matters? What needs should I tend to? If I reread those verses about the poor in the Bible, I see that people are what matter to God. God loves people, and he wants them whole – body, spirit, heart, mind, and soul. And for a person to be whole, a lot of factors have to work together.
people make shoes with tyre, water bottle,be feet,
because they have nothing to wear.and we should help them
